Trauma Integrating Flow Therapy

Intermediate Tift® Training

In the basic training course, we started from the gestalt or optimal structure of the client with complex trauma and work in the comfort zone accompanied by intersubjectivity in the therapist-client couple.

In this intermediate course, we will be taking a closer look at fragmentation and dissociation in their various forms, which maintain the balance of the client's optimal gestalt and thus enable adaptive regulation in changing internal and external contexts.

We will also look at how Tift integrates the parameters recognised as essential for the resolution of complex trauma or complex PTSD, taking into account the DSM-5 and ICD-11 criteria.

What is to be done with parts, ego states and individual traumas in Tift therapy?

The 3 phases of therapy will be more clearly highlighted, with shared criteria depending on the phase present.

We will also be developing the use of 'Plus' to undo the adaptations that are essential for survival and development.

We will refine our ability to get the system moving again by creating a gentle rocking motion, a flow, through the choice of our interventions and the way we regulate the process by alternating the Pluses.

We will start the training with a summary of the Tift basic parameters in order to create a solid foundation on which to go on building our intermediate training.
